Welcome to Continuing Learning Organization (CLO)
The Continuing Learning Organization (CLO) was initially established as the Continuing Education Program for Alumni (CEPA) in 2009. In 2012, the organisation changed its name to Continuing Learning Organization to better reflect its mission. CLO's primary objective is to provide ongoing education and support to Bible school graduates and Christian leaders in Cambodia. The organisation aims to enhance the knowledge and leadership abilities of individuals who have completed their Bible studies, promoting lifelong learning through non-formal education, training programs, and workshops. CLO's target beneficiaries include bible school alumni, pastors, church leaders, religious leaders, and families.
CLO has been actively working in the capital city and six provinces, including Phnom Penh, Pailin, Battam Bang, Kampong Thom, Kampong Speu, Tbong Khmum, and Takeo Provinces, providing various training programs and workshops. These initiatives focus on capacity building through training, as well as facilitating fellowship, networking, and resource mobilisation. The organisation's goals include increasing knowledge and practical understanding of income generation and stewardship, strengthening church management and leadership, enhancing practical theology, and promoting peace and harmony among inter-faith groups.
CLO's work is structured around four main projects: Family Ministry, Church Ministry, Interfaith Dialogue, and Contextual Theology. These projects encompass activities such as strengthening family relationships, providing counselling training to church leaders, promoting interfaith dialogue for peace and harmony, and inspiring faith actors and church leaders to engage actively in society.
The organisation has been addressing the identified needs of Bible school alumni from various Bible schools in Cambodia, recognizing the challenges they face, such as lack of fellowship, mentoring, further education, and financial resources. CLO has been establishing core groups in different provinces and cities to provide support to these individuals and address their specific needs. This includes networking, facilitating workshops, and resource mobilisation in areas such as income generation, organisational capacity building, theology, conflict resolution, and religious peace building.
As a faith-based, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, CLO is governed by the Board of Governors and is committed to the Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Slogan contained in its constitution.
